Cancellation

Instruction may be discontinued at any time, with one full month’s notice in writing (email). One full month’s notice must be given 30 days prior to the intended last week of lessons. Please email intent to discontinue lessons to info@freteleven.com. All remaining post-dated cheques will be returned and the number of lessons given to date will be calculated and a refund will be returned if applicable.

Missed Lessons

If for any reason a student misses a lesson, please contact your instructor. Missed lessons will not be made up, for any reason. You will be notifying us as a courtesy to the instructor. There will be no fee adjustments for missed lessons due to illness or extra holidays taken by the student, as the student’s space is being held in his/her absence. The instructors are available to make up a lesson plan and email it out to the students in the event of an absense. It is our expectation that our students are committing to being at the 40 lessons per year. Considerations will be made on an individual basis in exceptional circumstances such as injury or extended illness.

Books and Materials

Different teachers have various books and materials required. These are above and beyond the cost of monthly lessons. It is recommended that you purchase the materials required in the first month of lessons – your teacher will let you know what is required.

Music Binder

It is essential that each student have a “music binder”. It is our goal to keep our students and parents as well informed as possible. Please file all hand-outs, forms, newsletters etc. in your music binder so that they will be easily accessible for future reference.

Waiting Areas

Parents and students are invited to wait outside the teaching rooms for the instructor. There are other common public areas that are free to use with couches etc. – Please do not explore the facility while you are waiting – we are guests/tenants of Rocky Mountain College and Centre Street Church. There are other operations going on at all times. Any instruments or items left unattended are not the responsibility of freteleven so please keep your valuables with you.

Payment Policy

We require 10 post-dated cheques as form of payment for the year from our students.
- Please bring them to your first lesson.
- ***Please date cheques for the first of each month (no exceptions) When we have the cheques made out at different dates throughout the month, it makes accounting a little more time consuming – thanks! It’s appreciated.
- Make heques payable to freteleven.
